Across The Pond
“There are no foreign lands. It is the traveler only who is foreign”
In the age of information an artist should have a singular goal. To seek out people who resonate with their art, bridge gaps between cultures in order to provide a service and to allow themselves the freedom of expression, in order to be appreciated and nurtured. Art is a universal language and it can be appreciated universally, yet some artists choose to focus their efforts only in their city, and sometimes their state/districts. With the power of the internet and the easy access to information and social media it is truly a disservice that more artists do not take advantage of their ability to make fans outside of their own area.
Bigg Moviee is not that artist. He is an East London artist that has bridged the gap from the UK to the US. These two music markets are incredibly powerful when linked and with that expect great things from Bigg Moviee. His art speaks for itself, with influence of Grime, Golden Era hip hop, hip hop in general and Garage Emcees he has developed a unique sound since the young age of 8 years old. You can now catch his music here on Arrogant as we are proud to feature his work! Check out his latest two tracks on all streaming platforms and make sure to follow him for updates on his latest projects!
His latest track “Everybody’s Gangster” is an evaluation of the hip hop industry. This track explores how many claim that they are gangster but simply do not have that street credibility to make that claim. The beat is heavy with quality mixing and mastering with a cinematic approach to the beat that could easily be part of a short film. The flow is varied but also on beat with quality writing and tough bars that establish Big Moviee’s sound. The track has a high replay value and is not to be missed!
