Odacreep
“In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different”
The hip hop community is one of over-saturation. With unlimited amounts of projects coming from mainstream artists and the underground teeming with new music to dig through it can seem almost impossible to find new music that is not only genuine but different and matched with talent equally. The underground hip hop industry is easily the most cutthroat business there is and to become notable one has to set themselves apart.
Odacreep is a native New Mexico artist who speaks on true existence in the city of Albuquerque, the State of New Mexico and his personal experiences. He is no stranger to being unapologetic and honest. His projects are wildly different than 100% of everything coming out of his city and state. His aggressive, loud and punchy writing is comprised of bar heavy skills. His approach to music is not the trendy or pattern driven industry template but rather an insight into his life. He approaches music with a seriousness and an ear for what he would like to hear. The features on this project alone showcase more heavy hitting writers and similar bar heavy rappers such as Reno, Stoney BlueFireFlame, Envee the Queen, Knowledge the 1nfamous, Infamous Creepas, DVS1, and Da T.R.U.T.H.
You can check out the latest project titled “Machine” from Odacreep below. The first track Gaara and Kankuro is an introduction into what the listener can expect from the rest of the project, a fast paced multi-syllabic track that highlights what Odacreep is capable of. Other stand out tracks are Fuccery and Filthy Cypher 2 and Smoke highlights more of Odacreeps’ off the wall personality and range. See why Odacreep is making a name for himself and doing so by being entirely himself.
