These Streets
“Chicano is not a painting style, it is a description of culture”
The streets of New Mexico are not the typical city roads, alleyways and neighborhoods. The streets of New Mexico carry a weight that others simply do not share. You can travel the world and not see or feel the same things that you will experience here. There are commonalities between each hood, set, and city but with New Mexico it carries a different energy. If you have ever visited New Mexico, seen the sunsets, been to the war zone, experienced the tragedy, the conflict and the beauty you will know just what this means.
When the streets raise the people and the community makes the music/art you get an entirely different vibe. Some of that vibe is captured perfectly here by Robert Stacks and Sane Sinatra. Two names in the hip hop community that are synonymous with the culture. These Streets is a video by the two artists that has that Burque feel. There is nothing quite like it here and when you hear this track you will hear the bars and the story line of what it means to be in Burque. Check out the video here and see how it can bring vivid memories of the culture in Nuevo Mexico and how this culture is home.
Salute to Robert Stacks and Sane Sinatra for the art their put on track and video. Show some love for New Mexico hip hop and hit that subscribe, share, comment and like button.
