Make My Night
“Some bow to the spirit of collectivism, while you ascend to the spirit of your own eclectic rhythms”
The American music industry is sought out everywhere. The world listens to what we listen to. This would seem like some sort of boastful measure of success but what is greater than the world listening to the music that is produced in United States is that the world makes music for the U.S. market. The music here is a collection of cultures, sub-cultures, genre bending and genre introducing. As music progresses in the United States it isn’t a surprise to see that the best and newest styles and trends come from artists who are influenced the world over. The greatest experiment of American culture is that it is a collective culture that we all get to share and enjoy.
Bwanali is one of those modern American artists coming from Chicago with a solid Afropop dance feel to his tracks. Bwanali throws Zambia into the conversation because his music is different, energetic and has a club feel at the same time! Make My Night is from his Tropical Nightz EP back in 2019. He has a nice following across his multiple streaming platforms and his catalog is filled with tracks that feel like the club. Check out Bwanali below!
